Quick build times, From when you approve the design, our manufacturing timeline is from 4 to 6 weeks with installation to take place soon after. If you are located in an area that is higher than BAL12.5 your pod will require a non-combustible exterior material (cement sheeting). Plus other small items needed to comply. Wood products play a role in reducing carbon pollution by storing carbon sequestered by forests while in use and often for many years beyond. Heat & Moisture Resistant Lining, Material: Rhino Wrap. Additional to the layer of Shadowclad, steel, insulation and ply is added another layer inside the walls to keep you and your Pod protected. Rhino Wrap is a laminate of aluminium foil and poly woven fabric which is wrapped around the wall frame to provide the building with a protective barrier against wind, rain and heat transfer. Insulation to the Walls -Material: PolyThermal, Thermal Wall Batts. Rating: R1.5 The Poly Thermal insulation is Non Allergenic, Non Irritant and 100% Recyclable. Insulation upgrade option: Wool Material: Earth Wool | Rating: R4.0 BAL Rating: Pods are covered up to a BAL 29, materials are made to resist catching fire due to burning debris and increased heat flux.
